Intern’s Key Engagement: “Smart Sports” Sport-Tech Project
Project Overview:
- Promote gerontechnology initiatives using preventive exercise as a superior alternative to long-term elderly care
- Recruit young ambassadors with special educational needs and young seniors from the Eastern District and Peng Chau communities to connect with isolated elderly residents
- Develop VR fitness technology tailored to different cognitive levels among seniors, rolling out through “Senior Sports Days” and “Senior Sports Tech Courses”
Details of the Internship Programme:
Target: Tertiary Students (Welcome all interested alumni, with priority given to alumni studying Sports Science, Health Technology, Gerontology, or related fields)
Date: Jul to Sep 2025 (Flexible work arrangements, details to be confirmed upon acceptance)
Position: Sport Technology Programme Coordinator
Key Duties:
- Community Engagement
- Plan and organise community events introducing sports technology to the elderly
- Facilitate training courses to help the elderly understand and operate sports technology equipment
- Project Development
- Conduct literature reviews supporting elderly sports technology development
- Collect and analyse user feedback from the elderly to enhance the training programme design
Goba Solutions Limited
#HKFYGAlumni Ken Yung co-founded Goba Solutions Limited, a technology company transforming transportation landscapes across Southeast Asia and the Greater Bay Area through digital innovation, driving smart city development.
Their flagship product “GoByBus.hk” stands as Hong Kong’s first and only cross-city bus platform, digitalising traditional transportation operators through QR code ticketing, AI-powered journey analysis, digital wallets, and enhanced passenger service experiences. GoByBus.hk received the Hong Kong Retail Technology Innovation Award in 2020.
Details of the Internship Programme:
Target: Tertiary Students (All academic backgrounds welcome)
Date: Jul to Aug 2025 (5 days per week)
Location: Hong Kong Science Park
Position: Marketing and Business Development Intern
Key Duties:
- Marketing
- Manage Facebook pages and WeChat official accounts, creating engaging travel-related content in text or video
- Design social media posts and review account strategies to boost follower engagement
- Business Development
- Identify and connect with potential clients through email, phone, and social media outreach
- Explore advertisers, agents, and partnership opportunities
- Research target markets, competitors, industry trends, and potential clients to drive business expansion
