Social Adventure (2): Ghost Net Hunt

As non-marine scientists, how can we protect our precious marine life?

“Ghost nets”, abandoned or lost fishing gear, lead to nearly 300,000 whale and dolphin deaths globally each year, impacting local species like the Chinese white dolphin and horseshoe crab.

Join the Alumni Office as we take action! We’ll learn basic diving skills, explore the marine ecosystem, and assist in clearing ghost nets under expert guidance.

Continuing our “Mindful Sand Art” journey, join us in Sai Kung on October 20.

Let’s discover and explore our community together!
